I'm the wrong side of 35 and recently married to Mr Right. Bristol born and bred, I have enjoyed a hectic but fulfilling career as and English, media studies and photography teacher in a lovely comprehensive school.
Until now. Now my life has turned upside down. Now I have left everything that was familiar and safe and in my control and embarked on my most challenging job - mummy to Baby B, born in August 2015.
I'm finding motherhood to be magical, exhausting, unsettling and very very emotional. I need an outlet for the many thoughts, feelings, questions and realisations that buzz around my brain during the lonely night feeds, and so this blog is born.
